                               PAULA HOFFMAN





Paula Hoffman joined the Burlingame office of Coldwell Banker in 1980 after relocating from the East Coast and has been relocating others ever since.


A graduate of the City University of New York and Sacramento State University, Paula had an active career as a journalist prior to entering real estate, writing for Time Magazine and other well-known publications.


In 1985 Paula was awarded the Circle of Excellence, the real estate industry's highest sales award and in 1986 became a graduate of the Realtor's Institute, giving her the GRI designation.  She was named Senior Marketing Consultant in 1988, received the Gold Circle Award in 1994 and the President's Circle Award in 1998. In 1999, she was awarded the International President's Elite  desgnation representing the top four percent of sales people for Coldwell Banker in North America.  The San Mateo County Association of Realtors Sales Achievement Milestone Award was presented to her on March 23, 2005.


In 1997 Paula became a Previews Property Specialist, qualifying her to participate in Coldwell Banker's special international marketing program for homes in the multi-million dollar price range.  She has been a Certified Relocation Specialist since 1997.  In 2017 Paula became a Global Luxury Marketing Specialist representing buyers and sellers of the most prestigous luxury homes  in the United States and around the world.


Almost all of Paula's business is repeat clients and referrals.  Now, after 38 years as a full-time real estate professional, she is working with clients who had been toddlers when their parents were her clients.    


A firm believer in giving back to the community, Paula served on the Board of Directors of the Peninsula Humane Society for 10 years and is currently a member of their Legacy Society.  She has served on the Auxiliary to the San Mateo County Medical Society and is currently the a member of the San Mateo Burlingame Auxiliary to the Lucille Packard Foundation for Children at Stanford.


Paula currently shares her home with two impossibly spoiled cats, Max and Louie.
